1. Purpose
ThreeU powers real businesses — their stores, their finances, their deliveries, their customer relationships. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") exists to protect those businesses, their customers, and the platform itself. It applies to everyone who uses any ThreeU service: merchants, their staff, buyers, drivers, developers, and API consumers.
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. Words defined there have the same meaning here. The lists below describe the most common prohibited activities; they are illustrative, not exhaustive — conduct that is clearly harmful, unlawful, or abusive is prohibited even if not listed.
2. Illegal Activity and Fraud
You may not use the Services to:
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable law or regulation.
- Commit fraud of any kind — including payment fraud, refund abuse, fake orders, money laundering, or financing of illegal activity.
- Misrepresent your identity, your business, your products, or your prices in a way that deceives customers or ThreeU.
- Sell or promote illegal goods or services, including illegal substances and stolen property.
- Evade sanctions, export controls, or licensing requirements applicable to your business.
3. Prohibited Content and Products
You may not upload, list, sell, or distribute:
- Counterfeit products or items that infringe trademarks, copyrights, patents, or other intellectual property rights.
- Harmful or dangerous content, including malware, content that incites violence, or material that exploits or endangers children.
- Products or content that are unlawful to sell or distribute in the markets you serve, including regulated items sold without the required licenses or approvals.
- Content you do not have the right to use.
ThreeU may remove content or listings that violate this section and, for repeated or serious violations, suspend the account responsible.
4. Security Violations
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, network, or data.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or bypass or attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limiting, or other security or usage controls.
- Steal, phish for, or harvest credentials, tokens, API keys, or personal data.
- Distribute malware, or use the Services to host or coordinate malicious infrastructure.
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks or any other automated attack against the Services or anyone else.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Services except to the extent the law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
Good-faith security research is welcome through our Responsible Disclosure process (see the Security & Trust page in the Legal Center). Research conducted within that process — without harming users, degrading the Services, or accessing data that isn't yours — will not be treated as a violation of this section.
5. Abuse of the Platform and Other Users
You may not:
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk communications through the platform's messaging, email, or notification features, or contact customers in ways that violate applicable communication and marketing laws.
- Harass, threaten, or defraud other users, merchants, customers, drivers, or ThreeU staff.
- Manipulate reviews, ratings, rankings, or marketplace metrics.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or other tenants — including placing deliberately excessive load, hoarding shared resources, or disrupting deliveries, orders, or payouts you are not a party to.
- Use another user's account, or share your account in ways that circumvent seats, roles, or permissions.
6. API and Developer Platform Abuse
If you use ThreeU APIs, the SDK, or the Developer Platform, you may additionally not:
- Exceed documented rate limits or circumvent them through multiple accounts, tokens, or other means.
- Request or retain more data or broader access scopes than your integration needs.
- Misrepresent what a plugin, theme, or integration does, or hide functionality from ThreeU review.
- Use data obtained through the platform for purposes outside the service you provide to the workspace that granted access — including selling it, building shadow profiles, or training models on it without authorization.
- Republish or resell the Services or platform data without written permission.
7. AI Services Abuse
You may not use ThreeU's AI features to:
- Generate content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or infringing.
- Produce spam, fake reviews, phishing content, or other material used to mislead or defraud.
- Attempt to extract other tenants' data, break model or platform safeguards, or probe the AI systems for vulnerabilities outside the Responsible Disclosure process.
- Automate decisions that the law requires a human to make.
8. Enforcement
When we identify a violation, our response is proportionate to its severity and history:
- For most violations we will notify you and give you an opportunity to correct the issue.
- We may remove or disable offending content, listings, plugins, or integrations.
- For serious, repeated, or legally required cases we may suspend or terminate access, as described in the Terms of Service.
- Where the law requires it — or where users, the public, or the platform are at risk — we may report activity to competent authorities.
We are not obliged to monitor everything on the platform, but we may investigate suspected violations, and we preserve and share records where legally required.
9. Reporting Violations
If you see content or behaviour on ThreeU that violates this policy, report it to [email protected]. For security vulnerabilities, use [email protected]. Reports are reviewed by a human, and we do not penalize good-faith reporting.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform and the threats against it evolve, following the update principles described in the Terms of Service: minor clarifications take effect on posting, material changes are notified in advance, and every version displays its version number, effective date, and last-updated date.
